GHIDORA REZ Metal
GHIDORA 906 REZ METAL
Ghidora is a relentless force in the world of heavy music, bringing raw intensity and crushing riffs straight from Hannahville, Michigan. Rooted in the power and spirit of Rez Metal, Ghidora delivers an unfiltered sonic assault that blends blistering aggression with deep, tribal resonance. With a sound as fierce as their name, they carve their own path in the metal scene, channeling the energy of their heritage into every bone-shaking riff and guttural roar. Prepare for an unrelenting experience-Ghidora doesn't just play metal; they embody it.
Carissa Keshick -Bad ASS Female Vocalist
From Hannahville, Carissa Keshick “Cedar Woman” brings raw energy and real emotion to Ghidora. Born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and shaped by life on the Rez, she turned screaming into more than just a sound — it became a powerful way to release and cope with everything she went through growing up.
Her biggest inspirations came from the powerful performances of Mitch Lucker (Suicide Silence), Mike Hranica (The Devil Wears Prada), and, most importantly, her dad — the one who first showed her the heart behind the music. Carrying a deep respect for her roots and the spirit of those who came before her, Keshick channels that energy into heavy vocals and an intense stage presence.
For her, Ghidora isn’t just music — it’s a way to connect, to heal, and to remind others that strength runs deep in where we come from.
Lexie "Jason" Keshick - Guitarist
Lexie is the guitarist for REZ Metal GHIDORA. He is also the father of Carissa Keshick, the eldest of seven children and the singer for GHIDORA. This family embodies the spirit of Rez metal: Jose Lopez, the drummer, is Carissa’s longtime partner, and together they have two sons. Additionally, Sheldon King, the bassist, is Lexie’s son-in-law; he has been in a long-term relationship with Lexie’s other daughter, and they have three sons, welcomed a daughter in July 2025. This is truly a family of dedicated moshers and headbangers. Lexie takes pride in using his music as a powerful expression of Rez life. Lexie Keshick is the sonic storm behind Ghidora, a heavy metal band forged in the fires of Indigenous resistance and ancestral rhythm. A proud member of the Hannahville community, Lexie channels generations of warrior spirit through his guitar—each riff a battle cry, each solo a ceremony of sound. His music fuses the raw power of metal with the sacred pulse of Native tradition, weaving motifs of thunderbirds, braided strength, and forest echoes into every performance.
With fingers like lightning and a heart tuned to legacy, Lexie doesn’t just play—he manifests. His stage presence is fierce, magnetic, and unapologetically Indigenous, reclaiming space in a genre that rarely sees his people. Whether shredding in warpaint or composing beneath the moon, Lexie Keshick is a force of nature—amplifying stories, shaking systems, and awakening spirits through distortion and truth.
Jose Lopez Drummer
My name is Jose Victor McKittrick, born on October 22, 1991. I am the percussionist for GHIDORA. I began playing drums at the age of 12 and am now 34 years old. I credit my early influences—such as Rush, Buddy Rich, The Who, Cream, Black Sabbath, and many others—for shaping the style and technique I possess today.
Jose is the thunder behind GHIDORA, the Indigenous rock band that channels ancestral rage and sacred rhythm into every beat. As drummer, he summons the storm—his sticks striking like lightning, his pulse syncing with the heartbeat of the land. Jose’s playing is ceremonial and ferocious, rooted in Hannahville traditions and forged in the fires of rebellion.
Each rhythm he crafts is a war dance, each fill a prayer. From powwow echoes to double-kick fury, Jose bridges ancient cadence with modern chaos, grounding GHIDORA’s sound in both legacy and defiance. On stage, he’s a force—painted in spirit, drumming in truth, shaking the earth with every strike.
GHIDORA doesn’t just play music. They resurrect memory. And Jose is the one who keeps time with the ancestors.

Sheldon King-Bass
Sheldon King is the heartbeat of GHIDORA, an Indigenous rock band that roars with ancestral fire and unapologetic grit. As bassist, he lays down thunderous grooves that echo through generations—each note a pulse of resistance, each rhythm a bridge between ceremony and chaos. Rooted in Hannahville, Sheldon channels the wisdom of elders and the wildness of the land, fusing deep tradition with raw distortion.
Their playing is more than sound—it’s story. Braided like river currents and bold as war cries, Sheldon's bass lines ground GHIDORA’s sonic storm in sacred soil. Whether stomping across stage or composing in solitude, they embody the duality of Indigenous strength: gentle and relentless, ancient and electrifying.
GHIDORA doesn’t just play rock. They reclaim it. And Sheldon is the low-end warrior leading into war on the battle field the stage.
